SpearfishingBermuda

Terms & conditions

The rules for using this educational site and its free resources.

1. Who you are dealing with

This site is operated by Spearfishing in Bermuda (the "Seller"). By using the site you are contracting with the Seller. By continuing to use the site you agree to these terms.

2. The service

The site provides educational content about Bermuda spearfishing — species, dive sites, seasons and rules — plus an arcade game for entertainment. The game is fictional and simplified; nothing on the site is fishing, diving, navigation or legal advice.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the service.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, including:

  • Any unlawful use, fraud or spam.
  • Infringing intellectual property rights.
  • Interfering with security or operations (malware, probing, scraping).
  • Reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the service, or circumventing technical limits.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

4. Intellectual property

The Seller retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, content, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes.

5. Free digital guide

The Bermuda Spearfishing Guide is offered as a free PDF download. No payment, subscription or account is required to access it.

6. Leaderboard and accounts

Scores you submit must be your own. We may remove scores or accounts that appear manipulated, abusive or submitted in breach of these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account.

7. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law our aggregate liability is capped at the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages (including loss of profits, data or goodwill). Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

8. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
